Dodgy

This category lists tips that need to be reworked, or perhaps deleted, but which are not currently recommended for deletion.

For example, a tip in this category may be useful, but only for an obsolete version of Vim. Or, the tip may be misguided or trivial. Or, the tip may potentially be useful after significant rewording. Reader beware.

The articles may be discussed at Category talk:Candidates for deletion, or could be sent to vim@vim.org for suggestions, from time to time.

Use Template:Dodgy to flag dodgy tips. That is, insert {{Dodgy}} at the top of the tip – that displays a message and adds the tip to the Dodgy category.
