This category is for pages that are proposed as new tips.

There is no need to manually assign this category to any page. A semi-automated process will periodically insert Template:TipProposed into new tip pages, and that template will assign this category.

Our goal is for a proposed new tip to have a lifetime of several weeks. After that, the page will converted to a new tip, or its contents will be merged into an existing tip, and the page deleted. In practice, it has taken several months to assign a tip ID (the final state, mostly for reasons of tradition and for easy linking).
