Filetype vs LanguageSpecificEdit

May I ask what differs between this new category and Category:LanguageSpecific ?

As with most things, we could always polish the wording to clarify, but I think Filetype is about the filetype concept (detection, where to put ftplugin files, etc). LanguageSpecific is for working with a particular language (e.g. all tips helpful for working with Python files). --JohnBeckett 11:24, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
