Vim Tips Wiki
(Not How-To. I would wait.)

Categories are important, but I need more time to get familiar with what tips are here. I'd like an easy way to get a list of all tips (titles + url) into a file. Most titles are good enough to use for working out some categories. So I favour a top-down approach, and would wait until most tips are cleaned or deleted (although I see the sense in adding the category while doing the clean).<br>

there are a number of python based tools to do such things. I always wanted to make a category that contains all tips that are reviewed already. I thought about a scripts to do that but have no time for such things at the moment. See http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Using_the_python_wikipediabot for details.

I think we need a category for important how-tos like VimTip32, the tips regarding how-to write plugins VimTip147, etc. Unfortunatelly, I can't think of any good name. Should it be Category:How-To, Category:Scripting, Category:Documentation, Category:VimL_for_dummies, ... ?
Any idea?

"How-To" doesn't seem helpful - every tip should be a howto.
Perhaps "Scripting" for your examples.
Categories are important, but I need more time to get familiar with what tips are here. I'd like an easy way to get a list of all tips (titles + url) into a file. Most titles are good enough to use for working out some categories. So I favour a top-down approach, and would wait until most tips are cleaned or deleted (although I see the sense in adding the category while doing the clean).
