Use this page to discuss script 1795 autoloadTemplate: load a new-file template according to the filetype

  • Add constructive comments, bug reports, or discuss improvements (see the guideline).
  • Do not document the script here (the author should do that on vim.org).
  • This page may be out of date: check the script's vim.org page above, and its release notes.

Comments[]

The script and the example template have Ctrl+M characters, which lead to errors when one tries to install this. Removing them fixes it, of course.

It looks like the files simply were saved in DOS format. If you are on a Windows system, no action is needed, but if your system is Unix-like you will need to convert them to Unix format. See File format. --Fritzophrenic 15:59, November 22, 2010 (UTC)
