How about an update for Vim 7.3, to support the :earlier {N}f and :later {N}f commands more easily? --Fritzophrenic 18:35, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

I am thinking about it. I am not sure yet, how to incorporate the many changes that came with 7.3. Especially the undotree() function looks promising (though there is at least a crash with 7.3.3, so I wait until this is fixed), but I don't know yet how to use it best. Also, now since persistent undo is available, I'd like to have a way to save the tags per file between vim sessions. But I have no idea how. Chrisbra 13:05, August 29, 2010 (UTC)
Looks like this has been incorporated into version 0.14. Very nice! You include a lot of stuff about saving the tags in the .viminfo file (pending a Vim patch) which could be cool, but other plugins save off things like this, in their own custom config files. --Fritzophrenic 18:09, September 30, 2010 (UTC)
It's only a couple of lines for saving the tags into the viminfo file (which won't hurt). But I should probably disable it, until this feature becomes available in Vim. Saving the data into an extra file is also possible, but then I have to take of reading and writing the file myself, which I'd like to avoid. Chrisbra 20:36, September 30, 2010 (UTC)
