From Vim Tips Wiki

Hi. I'm Bill Odom, a software developer living in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

I've been a sporadic user of vi or its offspring since the late 80s, back before Sun started calling SunOS "Solaris." (Boy, I'm old.) Vim became my weapon of choice six or seven years ago, when I decided to finally get serious about learning it and putting its power to use. I've been an advocate ever since, as several of my long-suffering friends would no doubt attest.

I spend most of my time these days on OS X, but I use Vim across many platforms, including several flavors of Windows, Linux, and BSD.
