Hi Arnar. Thanks for your new tip. I'm impressed how you have absorbed our conventions, and even inserted a {{Todo}}. In a week we'll start discussing the May new tips, and would welcome your thoughts.

Regarding your todo: Why don't you add a couple of lines with an example of exactly what you mean (I don't follow the conditions under which the script sees empty/zero values – what did you just do? what code did the script execute?). If you subscribe to the vim_use mailing list, you would probably get a good response from posting there. Or, if you like and you post an example, I could ask.

You might like to create your user page (can be very simple, perhaps just say how long you've used Vim – see Special:Listusers for some ideas). You are welcome to put any to-do or other notes related to Vim or the wiki under your user page. --JohnBeckett 09:02, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks! Edit

Thanks for the welcome John :)

I'll add a clarification to the TODO and we'll take from there. I can post on the ML if we need more help.

Good - after your edits, I see what you mean about the problem. Your workaround looks ok, but I'll think more about it later. --JohnBeckett 03:03, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
