Welcome to the Vim Tips wiki! We hope you can help improve the articles by fixing typos, adding comments (at the bottom of each tip page), rewriting tips, joining in discussions, or making any other improvements.
Be sure to visit the community portal for information about our site, with links to how to pages.
Keep an eye on the recent changes page, where all edits and their authors (anonymous or signed-in) are listed. Bookmark it, maybe.
Hi Benshi! It's great to have useful activity on the wiki – thanks. If you want, you can put any to-do or other notes related to Vim or the wiki under your user page.
Most of us are pretty new to wiki work. Take some time to read through the various links shown on the Community Portal, and experiment. You can edit a page (perhaps in the Sandbox), make any wild changes, then click 'Show preview'. Assuming you were just experimenting, do not save the page – just close it. That's a good way to learn. However, don't worry about mistakes – if someone notices a problem they will fix it. --JohnBeckett 23:23, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
