Copying to the Windows clipboard from Cygwin vim
Keep and rename and merge User:Ir0nh34d is the author of this tip and Pasting from the Windows clipboard to native Cygwin Vim (created in May). As Fritzophrenic said, I will rename this tip to "Using the Windows clipboard in Cygwin Vim" and will merge the May tip in, and will keep both original titles as redirects. Sounds useful, and not something that I would have guessed in a minute; but since over the years I've migrated from Dos to Windows to Windows/Linux double-boot to Windows+Cygwin/Linux double-boot to (finally) Linux-only I can't anymore test just how well this tip works. So I'm mildly in favour of keeping this tip, unless either Windows+Cygwin users can't make it work, or another good reason is invoked to scrap it. — Tonymec 05:17, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Merge with Pasting_from_the_Windows_clipboard_to_native_Cygwin_Vim added in May. Rename to "Using the Windows clipboard in Cygwin Vim" --Fritzophrenic 17:06, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Invoke the vimhelp from the bash command line
Keep. Put in Category:Integration somewhere. --Fritzophrenic 00:06, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Merge to 265 Fast help in full window. If I do that, I won't have to express my irritation with tips that are full of mystery (like the idiosyncratic "au! VimEnter *" that Tony commented on) and no examples. Given that "vimhelp" is not a recognised word, I propose deleting the original title. JohnBeckett 05:17, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
Agree. I'm OK with deleting this title, but we should create a couple redirects, such as "Invoke help from command line". --Fritzophrenic 13:42, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
