New tips April 2010

For each proposed new tip:

• Is it worth keeping as a separate tip?
• Should it be merged into an existing tip? Which?
• If it should be kept, is it ready for release? Which points need fixing? Should it be renamed?

Batch jobs launching & listings viewing using VIM

If we keep this, it needs to be renamed. Any suggestions? I did some tweaking but haven't studied what it actually does yet. I suspect it needs more of an introduction (what does it actually do?). JohnBeckett 09:03, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

I agree the intro is a little weak, and the tip itself is probably not very widely useful, but there will be a small audience for which it is, so I see no real reason to delete it.

Maybe rename to "Launch remote batch jobs and view results from Vim" or something like that?
